Hi, my name is Lauren McPeck! After spending 4 years in college as an exercise science major and psychology minor, I made the jump to pursue full time health and fitness coaching since Aug of 2020. I spent the majority of my life as an athlete in competitive gymnastics and cheerleading so fitness has always been a passion of mine. My health and fitness journey started similar to most, wanting to lose body fat and gain muscle. Unfortunately, I had a rough coaching experience early on which led to extreme food restriction, constant food focus, body dysmorphia and eventually a binge eating disorder.
After years of a poor relationship with food and my body, in 2018, I decided to invest in and trust Impact Athletics to guide me to better health. Since joining the team as an athlete, I've learned to take my power back with my relationship with food, heal my body image struggles and compete in NPC bikini.
Over the years, I've realized how many others have had similar experiences or struggled to find answers and balance within their own fitness journeys. This is ultimately what motivated me to further my education with the intention of helping as many individuals as possible reach their goals while focusing on their mental and internal health.
My top priority as a coach is to work closely together on whatever goal someone wants to achieve, create a safe and supportive space and bring the true potential out of someone. I've worked with all different types of client cases and assisted them in becoming the happiest, healthiest version of themselves.
